I love to write. That's obvious. What wasn't obvious with my creative background (my degree is from a liberal arts college with a major in art) and which surprised me was how interested in technology I was. It fascinated me and I ended up working for many years in the tech industry for companies like Hewlett-Packard, TEAC America, Atlas DMT, and Ansyr Technology. As an outsider of sorts (i.e., my non-tech background), my perspective was more aligned with the customer's and allowed me to write to the customer's perspective. 

Recently I shifted my writing focus to case studies because they blend my strengths and likes: researching, interviewing, synthesizing complex information into easily understandable language, and telling a story.
